Ghanaian rapper, Kwaw Kese has lost his son

His son died from some heart complications he developed after his birth Hiplife musician Emmanuel Botway, popularly known as Kwaw Kese, has lost his newborn baby. The baby died on Monday at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after failing to recover from a heart complication. In an interview with Accra-based Starr FM, the rapper confirmed the death of his new born son, explaining that the baby developed the complication after birth.

 

According to him, all efforts to save the baby proved futile after doctors at the hospital told him there was nothing they could do to save his child. He further stated that he tried flying his son abroad for treatment, but doctors said the baby was too weak to be flown outside the country. The baby eventually died over the heart complication days after its admission. Kwaw Kese called on authorities to improve facilities at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, pointing to the deplorable state of the maternity ward.
