Deborah Vanessa reveals real age difference with Medikal in lovey-dovey throwback video
The formerly beautiful love story of rapper Medikal and Deborah Vanessa has hit the rocks after actress Fella Makafui successfully snatched him.
Medikal and Deborah have reportedly dated for about two to three years, and before now, their love story was a very promising one. We have seen a lovely throwback video of the former couple in which they were seen holding hands and were all over each other.
They were together at an event when Sister Deborah was speaking about her love affair with the ‘Too Risky’ hitmaker. While doing so, Deborah, 34 years, revealed that she is eight years older than Medikal, therefore, those who spread that it is a 10 years age difference should know the right thing. According to her, at the start of the relationship, she was a bit skeptical about its survival owing to their vast age difference.
Deborah Vanessa added that she always found herself asking Medikal if the relationship would work because of their ages; but the rapper always asked her to stop talking about it because he was not interested in her age as he was deeply in love with her. According to the ‘Uncle Obama’ hitmaker, she brought that issue about for about six to eight times, all with Medikal assuring her that she looked 18, and so no need to worry about their age difference.
“At the beginning of the relationship, I was skeptical and worried so I kept asking Medikal come on I’m older than you are you sure, are u sure?
“He is more mature than her. He tells me age is nothing but a number. He tells me he doesn’t think about it so why am I thinking about that and even I look 18 so why do I always bring it up and that if I bring it up again he won’t be happy,” Sister Derby revealed. “
So after I bring it up like 6 or 8 times, he started to shake me and tell me not to bring it up. I realised that he is not bothered. At the end of the day he asked me out and he’s not bothered so I was ok,” she added. Deborah Vanessa also praised Medikal as a mature person – even more mature than she is – who loves to joke a lot. According to her, “we understand” each other and even though they are different, they liked similar things.
Meanwhile, earlier reports revealed how Deborah had the desire to be married to Medikal and raise a family with him. However, her dreams, if current circumstances are anything to by, would not materialize because Fella Makafui seems to have cut it short.
Brokenhearted Derby released a song: ‘Kakalika love’ to taunt Medikal and Fella, revealing that he saved her name as ‘carpenter’ at the time he started cheating with her. But Medikal has also jabbed Sister Deborah, saying she is not romantic.
