Becca’s mother has claimed that her daughter’s marriage to Nigerian husband Tobi Sanni was her (Becca’s) idea
The mother said Becca’s husband called her in London informing her that Becca wanted him to marry her
Becca’s mother said she was not happy with Sanni’s comment about the marriage Becca’s mother, Madam Juliet Oti, has revealed that the musician’s marriage to her Nigerian husband is her own idea.
According to the mother, she was in London when Sanni called her to inform her that Becca had “advised” him to marry her.
Therefore, he wanted to set a date for the knocking and proceed with the marriage ceremony, the mother reportedly said.
This is a fallout from series of interviews Becca’s mother had with the media making wild allegations and accusations against her daughter.
The woman said she was not happy with Sanni’s comment that Becca advised her to go ahead with their marriage because it meant that it was her daughter who was pushing for the marriage and not the man. She concluded that Sanni married her daughter out of his selfish gains and not for love.
Also, unknown to the mother, Becca was three months pregnant before her marriage, suggesting that she might have “advised” her husband to marry her because of the pregnancy, as if she trapped him with it.
Though not happy about Sanni’s comment that Becca wanted him to marry her, the mother said she agreed to their relationship for the sake of her daughter’s happiness.
Meanwhile, Becca’s mother has also called her in-law a thief. She has made other allegations against her daughter's husband including that he called her a witch.
Becca’s mum has also claimed that she has not spoken with her daughter for close to a year now to the extent that even when she was pregnant, Becca never informed her.
To her, Becca’s marriage to Tobi Sanni has severed the family ties and she is no longer happy with her daughter.
Meanwhile, Becca has spoken amid her mother's many complaints saying: "Plenty nonsense". Some celebrities are not happy about the development and have attacked Becca's mother for disgracing her daughter.
